Nolinor is currently seeking a Captain Lear Jet 45 – Flight Standards Manager (704)


In addition to the flying duties as PIC on the Learjet 45; the Flight Standards Manager is responsible to the Crew processes, procedures, and manuals at Nolinor Aviation for the 704 operations.
  • Develop and/or maintain policies and procedures to ensure the successful, smooth, and safe operation of all Nolinor aircraft operated under 704;
  • Develop and/or maintain all manuals applicable to the Flight Crew including but not limited to FCOM, SOP, QRH, MEL, and Route and Aerodrome Manual;
  • Ensure all Flight Crew procedures are standard, safe, and efficient in order to achieve flight operation goals and objectives, i.e., Fuel saving program, etc...
  • Oversee all check pilots to ensure a high quality of training is provided to the flight crew in accordance to company procedures and Transport Canada requirements;
  • Implement corrective action when hazards or weaknesses are identified by the Safety Management System (SMS), or recommended by the Safety Office, or as directed by the Chief Pilot;
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Manager to perform departmental audits, as required;
  • Attend industry meetings applicable to flight standards as required;
  • Assume any other task or responsibility delegated by the Chief Pilot, as required.

Required skills:

  • Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL);
  • Learjet 45 type rating is required;
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident status;
  • Must have a valid passport;
  • Bilingualism, both oral and written;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to develop relationships with clients;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Flexible to varying work schedule.
