responsibilities:
- Advise and support managers in the implementation of various human resources practices;
- Encourage employee engagement and retention through close management;
- Participate in recruitment and onboarding strategies for new employees;
- Stay alert to issues that may impact the work environment while fostering a culture of collaboration and respect;
- Provide advisory support to managers on problem-solving and labor relations;
- Actively participate in various continuous improvement projects (e.g., development/training pathways, talent management and succession planning programs, talent recognition and retention programs);
- Manage and monitor occupational injury and disability cases;
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and application of human resources policies and procedures;
- Act as an ambassador and promote organizational values.
Required skills:
- Excellent listening skills and good judgment;
- Strong aptitude for teamwork and interpersonal relations;
- Ability to establish a climate of trust;
- Comfort in a constantly evolving environment;
- Strong organizational skills and priority management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent experience;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist;
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Bilingualism required (English and French), both written and spoken;
- MPO certification is an asset.
