Responsibilities:

  • Observe safety procedures in connection with the company and Transport Canada;
  • Prepare the cabin for take-off and landing;
  • Assist passengers when boarding and disembarking;
  • Make all announcements and demonstrations relating to service and security;
  • Ensure monitoring of the cabin during the flight;
  • Liaise with the pilots;
  • Collaborate with the crew to provide an exceptional service;
  • Assist the passengers when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent;

  • Be a resident Canadian or hold a work permit;

Nolinor is looking for a GSE Mechanic. The selected candidate will be responsible for the daily maintenance and preventive maintenance of all ground service equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain and modify ground service equipment;
  • Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and modify ground service equipment;
  • Diagnose problems using test equipment and the applicable manuals;
  • Remove, test, repair or replace components and accessories such as carburetors, regulators, air cleaners and oil and ignition point;
  • Check and adjust tolerance valves, bearings, cams, clutches and drive shafts;
  • Replace the bearings, bushings, shafts, end plates, brushes, springs, coils, frames, buttons, valves, manifolds, hoses, hose and wiring, as required;
  • Perform other related duties.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a Professional Diploma in heavy vehicle mechanic;
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in diesel and petrol mechanic;
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures manuals;
  • Availability for last minute urgent repairs;
  • Valid driver’s license (class 1, an asset);
  • Good knowledge of English, both oral and written;
  • Initiative and autonomy.

  • Act as a resource person within the organization for incident prevention, hazard control and overall risk reduction;
  • Document, maintain and manage OHS records;
  • Develop and implement HSE programs, procedures and OSH activities in accordance with applicable provincial and federal legislations / regulations and industry standards;
  • Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and audits;
