Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the team : supervise all structures personnel, assign work according to skills and qualifications, and develop your technicians through on-the-job training.
  • Own the aircraft under your care : perform complete daily reviews of each work package, ensure all work documents and maintenance releases are duly signed and recorded, and verify completion of all maintenance duties under your supervision.
  • Drive the check : provide daily inspection and check progress status, flag potential delays early, complete the Daily Report, and keep the shift pass-over airtight.
  • Manage defects like a pro : approve defects, raise non-routine cards, and establish manpower and material requirements for rectification in conjunction with the Manager.
  • Keep the parts flowing : enter requisitions into the computerized maintenance system and ensure requests for parts, tooling, equipment, and material reach the Manager on time.
  • Supervise internal structural repairs opened under your scope of work (sheet metal / structures).
  • Champion safety : ensure all safety measures are respected, report any accident or damage, and uphold Nolinor’s Safety and Quality Management System (SQMS).
  • Handle the people side : employee evaluations, weekly time sheet approvals, job card clocking accuracy, discipline when required, and vacation/banking calendars.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement program and monitor in-flight maintenance reports.

Requirements

  • AME licence;
  • Solid structure experience, or a strong structure/sheet metal background in heavy aircraft maintenance;
  • Previous supervisory or lead-hand experience in a heavy maintenance (MRO) environment;
  • A builder’s mindset : you thrive on standing up new teams, new processes and new facilities;
  • Sharp documentation discipline: work packages, maintenance releases and regulatory paperwork done right every time;
  • Strong communication skills and the judgment to make the right call when the schedule is tight;
