As a Technical Records Technician, your primary mission will be to update, maintain, and organize current and historical technical records of our aircraft. You will ensure that the computerized system is up to date with accurate information regarding flight hours, flight cycles, and maintenance activities performed. Additionally, you will be responsible for compiling, organizing, and updating technical documentation related to aircraft/engine maintenance and components, in accordance with Transport Canada standards and regulations.

responsibilities:

  • Perform systematic updates related to daily flight inspections and component changes.
  • Communicate and respond to queries from other bases, departments, and technicians.
  • Assist in organizing aircraft technical reports.
  • Conduct daily audits of technical records, work orders, and related data to verify their accuracy and track any errors or omissions.
  • Archive all documents related to aircraft/engines/components.

Profile:
  • You are meticulous, prioritizing quality over productivity, while being able to meet minimum performance requirements.
  • Comfortable with limited social interactions, you focus on tasks that can be challenging at the start of learning.
  • You are comfortable with various computer systems or programs and are bilingual (French-English).
  • You have a neat and autonomous approach, while being open to feedback and eager to learn from your mistakes.
  Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of practical experience in database management, data analysis, and strong technical skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in working with data.
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook) is essential.
  • Fluency in French, both oral and written.
  • Good knowledge of English, both oral and written, to understand English terms as well as our RASS system.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the RAAS computerized system or any other records data software is an asset.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good organizational skills with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Inquisitive nature and high personal motivation.
