Reactivity and adaptability in times of crisis

In October 2021, an emergency situation was declared in the city of Iqaluit due to the presence of contaminants in the drinking water supply. Faced with this crisis, a fast, reliable solution was needed to transport the mechanical equipment essential for repairing the faulty installations.

Nolinor Aviation, renowned for its expertise and experience in complex flying conditions, was commissioned by the Government of Nunavut. A Boeing 737-200 was quickly dispatched to retrieve the equipment from Pond Inlet and transport it to Iqaluit. Pond Inlet, with its relatively short runway, presented an additional challenge, which the Nolinor team met with flying colors.

This complex and delicate mission was completed in record time, underlining once again Nolinor Aviation’s ability to respond effectively to emergency situations, even in difficult conditions.
