After the Antonov, Nolinor Aviation is giving back to the North

May 4th, 2020

The airline posted an online challenge to bring cargo to northern communities free of charge.

One week ago, Nolinor Aviation posted a short video on their social media account showing their employees sending out a challenge to other airlines flying up north. Nolinor will be giving a free cargo flight to a local community of the North to bring needed food and supplies in this time of crisis.

“Although we have never received any subsidies from the North, we have been flying there for over 27 years. We wanted to give back in this time of need and challenge other airlines to do the same. If everyone follows suit and gives away a flight, we can all make a sizeable difference”  says Marco Prud’Homme, President of Nolinor Aviation

Food Banks Canada jumped at the opportunity and will deliver 20,000 pounds of food. The free cargo flight will be conducted using a Boeing 737-200 Cargo on May 4 from Mirabel under flight number NRL123.
